Mim goes through periods of time known as Ages. Ages are essentially a span of time over which a universe rises and falls. There have been two known ages so far.- Crystal Age (The before time that takes place before your adventures)
- Golden Age (The current age)
- Silver Age (The predicted age that will come after the current age)
At the end of the age, the universe essentially resets, and the Admillustrator generates new worlds, culture, creatures, mims, and crubs. All past lifeforms cease to exist, and that might be a problem considering there are people that probably don't want to stop existing.
Cue a key struggle. During the crystal age, six immortal beings (deities) rose into power, abilities only below the Admillustrator himself.
They were:
Legacy - Glyphlord (Magic) - Lord of magic and energy. Eclipse - Ruler of Shadow and Light, life and death. Cipher - The Thinker, creator of all sorts of new technologies, master of the mind. Saber - The Survivor - Leader of the wilderness. Typhoon - Elements Master (Elemaster) - Wielder of the six elements. Rampage - War King - Warrior to the core.
The immortals essentially ruled the universe, and were said to create heirs for the next age.
Additionally under them, there are Starters, who are the physical embodiment of any one attribute. (Example: Fate is the Chief Starter, Time, Life, Death, Chaos, Power, Fear, Witchcraft, Danger, Terror, etc).

Whoops my bad. I meant crystal age. There are only three ages. And one is theoretical.
