Hi,
I'm planning to start a new Iksar character and explore Kunark, from 1 to 60. To relive the good old days – A trend that has become very popular, to judge by these forums.
While I do this, I figure, a good thing to do, rather than aimlessly grinding, would be to work my way up the ladder of quests that leads to one of the old Kunark mini-epics. These quests seem to lead players into level-appropriate hunting zones, and give them something to quest for while they grind.
Here's the first question: Do any of you long-time Everquest veterans out there remember doing these quests? And the second question: Was the payoff worth it? Was the carrot at the end of the stick a good carrot? Or a worthless item that you immediately put in the bank?
