"Alright, now, to contact the fool." Shadow smirked as she dialed the number. Despite being on the street, she did have a "cell phone" a special watch she had bought a while ago. She could do just about any technological action with this thing.
"Hello, I'm answering to a wanted ad about a beast 'wrangler.'

"I'll be right there." Shadow ran to the location, not being too far, only about two blocks away. She entered the building to see a large neo-dog and a someone in the shadows.
Within a few hours she had the dog tamed and relaxed. Suddenly, a mist filled the air. Shadow found herself choking on the gas, loosing the battle to stay awake. "What...." She coughed harshly and she collapsed, all going black.

 The first thing Shadow notices is a blur of color. After a long minute she can see a face, smirking down at her. "Glad you woke up," The creature, (because no mim is that tall) sneers.  "Perfect," he continues. "I want the satisfaction of knowing you're awake for this." He laughs, moving out of Shadow's range of vision. "Cause I gotta do my job after all." Shadow takes a look at her surroundings. She's tied to a chair, that much is true, and the room she and her captor are in is small. She can hear growling behind her, and the footsteps of the creature. |

"What do you want?" Shadow tensed. She tried loosening the ropes, but they were too tight, actually cutting into her wrists.
"Ya know, you could have just nabbed me on the street, no one really cares about me." Phantom burst into a fit of coughing.
